What the Young Creators Guild Is

The Young Creators Guild is the advanced tier of the Dragon Portal Publishing youth pathway — a creative guild for teens who are ready to take their imagination seriously.

It’s a supportive, skill‑building program where young creators explore writing, illustration, storytelling, world‑building, and creative identity in a way that feels empowering, not intimidating.

This is where they begin to see themselves not just as kids who create… but as creators with a voice.

Who the Program Is For

The Guild is designed for:

• teens 13 and up

• young writers, artists, and storytellers

• teens who want a safe, inclusive creative community

• neurodivergent teens who thrive with structure + freedom

• kids who feel “different” and need a place to belong

• teens who want to build confidence through creative mastery

• youth who want to explore identity through characters and worlds

• teens who want to learn real creative skills without pressure

If a teen has a spark — or needs help finding one — they belong in the Guild.

What Teens Do in the Guild

Inside the Young Creators Guild, teens:

• develop original characters, worlds, and story concepts

• write short stories, scenes, scripts, or graphic‑novel style pages

• create illustrations, concept art, or visual storytelling

• participate in monthly creative challenges

• collaborate on group quests or world‑building prompts

• receive optional spotlight features (with permission)

• earn Guild badges, ranks, and creative achievements
